Commissioner Prado demanded the release of ‘FundaRedes’ activists after being kidnapped for 100 days

The Presidential Commissioner for Human Rights and Attention to Victims, Humberto Prado, rejected the arbitrary detention of Javier Tarazona, Rafael Tarazona and Omar García of the NGO ‘FundaRedes’, who have held captive for more than 100 days since they were unjustly detained.

Com. Prado highlighted the work on human rights that the organization has carried out. “It always caused a sting in the regime considering that Tarazona denounced the ‘El Ripial’ massacre on May 25th of this year in Apure, where FAES officials murdered 5 people accused of being “guerrillas”, he said through his Twitter account.





On the other hand, the Commissioner assured that Mr. Tarazona denounced the massive human rights violations that were being committed against civilians in Apure. “A month and a half later he was caught by the Sebin,” he recalled.
