President Guaidó thanked U.S. Senators for their support of the Venezuelan democratic cause

The President in Charge of Venezuela, Juan Guaidó, described as ‘pleasing’ the meeting with the U.S. Senators: Dick Durbin; the President of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, Bob Menéndez; and the President of the Senate Foreign Relations Subcommittee for the Western Hemisphere, Tim Kaine.

The national president thanked their support for the Venezuelan democratic cause and reported that they discussed ways to restore freedom and democracy in the country.





“We discussed mechanisms to address the suffering of our people, in addition to restoring freedom and democracy in Venezuela,” he said.

The senators recognized the dedication of the Interim President, Juan Guaidó, to achieve a better future for Venezuela.

“Against incredible obstacles, he and many others continue a patriotic struggle to rebuild this once-proud Latin American neighbor. We are with him and with the Venezuelan people in this effort,” they affirmed.
